The female version of the homo sapien species. Always trudging forward in every aspect. And leaving their male counterparts with open mouths and wide eyes in bafflement as they leave them behind, stranded.

No. Its not one of those “equal rights” or “discrimination of sexes” or “gender bias” articles that I’m writing here. The sole purpose of this piece of writing is to throw some light on the “ladies first” phenomena, so abundantly ingrained in our society.

Wherever we glance around, hardly a place is to be found where you can’t find this rule in practice. Right from buses, trains to movie theaters, functions. Its different that somewhere its a spoken rule and somewhere an unspoken one. But exist it does.

On these lines, I can’t help relating a recent incident.
Me and this girl from college who’s a friend of mine (Ok.To make big things small; “me and my girlfriend!”)went shopping to a mall. Once we were done (shopping that is!) we proceeded to the cash counter where we were greeted by an endless queue of impatient customers waiting their turn to pay the bill. Seeing the scenario, my chances of sneaking into the line seemed bleak.
That’s when I persuaded my GF to use her charms to our gain.
I watched the show in amazement as guy after guy gave a smile and started making way for her! Looks did help after all girl!

Women’s Quota, Women’s Bill, Women’s Rights, Women’s Commission, Women’s What Not? The list is endless.
Amusingly, when the prefix “Women” attaches itself to these simple words, the end product is scarier than ever (for us poor guys!).

In actuality, the modus operandi of these women is to ‘woo’ men and get their so called rights.
Whatever, but I sympathize with you all guys because I know these woo-men (oops...women!) won’t.
